Home Maintenance Memberships

Pick the trade or trades you want covered. Each membership includes the inspections that catch a problem before it's an emergency, plus priority scheduling and money off parts whenever something does come up.

Seasonal maintenance through spring, summer, fall and winter

Dispatch Membership

The lowest service call rate, plus no-surcharge emergency calls, on any trade.

$15/mo

Every Summit service call has a $225 rate for non-members, or $149 for a member on any trade plan. This membership drops it further, to $99, on any call, any trade -- and covers the after-hours surcharge on your first two emergency calls each year, so a no-heat call at 2am doesn't cost more just for the hour it happened. You're also matched with the same trusted, vetted partner technician whenever they're available, instead of whoever's open that day.

  • $99 service call rate on any call, any trade (vs. $149 for other members, $225 for non-members)
  • No after-hours surcharge on your first 2 emergency calls per year, any trade
  • Matched with a trusted, vetted partner technician whenever they're available
  • Works alongside any other membership, or completely on its own

HVAC Maintenance Membership

The one that matters most. Comfortable in July, comfortable in January.

$19/mo

Your AC and furnace are the two systems you can't afford to overlook -- they're what keep the house comfortable every month of the year. That's why we build this membership around two visits a year: an AC tune-up each spring, before the first hot week, and a furnace tune-up each fall, before the first cold snap. Members also pay a $149 service call rate on any HVAC repair, instead of the $225 non-member rate.

  • Spring AC tune-up and fall furnace tune-up included, no extra charge (2 visits/year)
  • $149 member service call rate on HVAC repairs, instead of the $225 non-member rate
  • 15% off parts on up to 2 HVAC repairs per year (up to $300 off per job)
  • Priority scheduling for AC and furnace calls

Cancel anytime, no contract.

Plumbing Maintenance Membership

Catch the leak before it's a flood.

$14/mo

Plumbing problems rarely start big -- a slow drain, a water heater past its prime, a sump pump nobody's tested since it was installed. An annual inspection catches most of it while it's still a cheap fix, and members pay a $149 service call rate on any plumbing repair, instead of the $225 non-member rate.

  • Annual whole-house plumbing inspection, included
  • Water heater flush included every year
  • $149 member service call rate on plumbing repairs, instead of the $225 non-member rate
  • 15% off parts on up to 2 plumbing repairs per year (up to $300 off per job)
  • Priority scheduling for plumbing calls

Cancel anytime, no contract.

Electrical Maintenance Membership

Safety checks you'd otherwise forget to schedule.

$14/mo

Most electrical problems in older Milwaukee-area homes stay invisible until they're not -- a panel past its rated life, a GFCI that's stopped tripping, a smoke or CO detector nobody's tested in years. One visit a year catches what a walk-through misses, and members pay a $149 service call rate on any electrical repair, instead of the $225 non-member rate.

  • Annual electrical safety inspection (panel, GFCI outlets, smoke/CO detectors)
  • $149 member service call rate on electrical repairs, instead of the $225 non-member rate
  • 15% off parts on up to 2 electrical repairs per year (up to $300 off per job)
  • Priority scheduling for electrical calls

Whole-Home Membership

HVAC + plumbing + electrical, bundled for less than paying for all three separately.

$42/mo

All three maintenance plans in one membership, at a price below what they'd cost booked individually ($47/mo separately). One member, three systems covered, top priority on every call.

  • Everything in the HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical plans above
  • Top-priority scheduling across every trade
  • $149 member service call rate on any repair, any trade, instead of the $225 non-member rate
  • 15% off parts on up to 2 repairs per trade per year (up to 6 total/year, up to $300 off per job)

12-month minimum term (this is what makes the bundled price possible).

How membership works

Join whichever plan fits -- just HVAC, just one other trade, any combination, or the Whole-Home bundle. We schedule your included visits automatically and reach out ahead of each one. Every service call carries a service call rate -- $225 for non-members, $149 for a member on any trade plan, or $99 if you're also on the Dispatch Membership -- and each maintenance plan's 15% parts discount covers up to 2 repair visits per trade per year. Included tune-ups and inspections don't count against that limit, and anything above your approval limit is quoted in writing first, same as every Summit request.

Stack the Dispatch Membership with any plan

The Dispatch Membership isn't a replacement for the trade plans -- it's a standalone add-on that drops the service call rate to $99 (the lowest rate Summit offers) and waives the after-hours surcharge on your first two emergency calls a year, any trade, whether or not you're on a maintenance plan for that trade. Plenty of members just run Dispatch on its own if they'd rather pay for repairs as they come up without a standing maintenance plan.

Why HVAC comes first

Of everything in a home, the furnace and AC are the hardest to overlook and the easiest to take for granted -- right up until one of them fails on the hottest or coldest week of the year. A spring AC tune-up and a fall furnace tune-up are the two single visits most likely to prevent an emergency call, which is why the HVAC Maintenance Membership is the one we recommend to every homeowner, with or without the other plans.

How these prices were set

These plans are priced against real membership programs run by home-service companies in the Midwest, not national averages. Ben Franklin Plumbing's club membership (Springfield-Urbana, IL) runs $10/month and covers an annual inspection plus a reduced trip charge, $49 for members versus $89 otherwise. One Hour Heat & Air's Comfort Club (Elk Grove Village, IL, outside Chicago) starts at $15.95/month for two seasonal tune-ups and 15% off any repair. A typical electrician's service call in this region runs $100-$200 for the first hour, travel, and diagnostics, before any repair work. Summit's plans sit at or near the upper end of those ranges because each one bundles more into a single membership -- the HVAC plan's two tune-ups plus a 15% repair discount, for instance, costs more than either benefit alone would from most of these companies -- and because the real profit protection in this market isn't the monthly fee, it's the service call rate: every company above charges something on each visit regardless of membership, which is why Summit's $149 member / $225 non-member service call rate exists instead of waiving it completely the way an early draft of this page did.
